Michaela Coel is slated to star in, write, and executive produce a new drama series titled "First Day on Earth," which will be co-produced by HBO and the BBC.
The series will also feature Jesse Armstrong, the creator of "Succession," as an executive producer. Alongside Armstrong, Phil Clarke and Roberto Troni will executive produce through Various Artists Limited. Jo McClellan will handle executive production for the BBC, while Piers Wenger will represent A24. Filming is scheduled to commence in 2025.
