"Pimp My Ride" is making a comeback, albeit in a new form. Actor and comedian Chris Redd will host Netflix's new car makeover show "Resurrected Rides," premiering on July 24. The series will consist of eight 40-minute episodes.
Rick Hurvitz, co-creator of "Pimp My Ride," which aired on MTV from 2004 to 2007, is an executive producer on this series. He is joined by Brandon Killion, Ari Shofet, and Mike Odair.
According to the official description, "Resurrected Rides" is "an entirely new motor makeover series for the modern age," where Redd and his team of mechanics help "deserving owners transform their beloved beaters into roadworthy masterpieces."
