Selena Gomez is poised to reenter the wizarding world.

During her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Friday, the 31-year-old actress and singer expressed her enthusiasm when questioned about the news of a "Wizards of Waverly Place" "reboot," although she promptly clarified host Jimmy Kimmel's choice of words.

"It's not a reboot. It's gonna be a different version, I guess," she informed Kimmel, 56, regarding the project announced by her and David Henrie in January.

“I was excited to bring the characters back,” she continued, discussing the revival. Gomez and Henrie, 34, will be reprising their roles from the Disney Channel hit show that originally aired from 2007 to 2012.
