The Hedge Knight Season 1 Will Debut in Early 2025 on HBO Max

Production for the show is anticipated to commence later this year.

With House of the Dragon set to debut its second season in the upcoming summer, the Knight of the Seven Kingdoms scheduled for the following year raises the prospect of HBO establishing a pattern of having a Thrones-related drama annually (provided both shows can maintain a two-year turnaround for their subsequent seasons).

Adapted from Martin's popular Dunk and Egg novellas, The Hedge Knight recounts the tales of "Dunk" (the future Lord Commander of the Kingsguard, Ser Duncan the Tall) and "Egg" (the future king Aegon V Targaryen) as they journey through Westeros, experiencing adventures roughly a century prior to the events portrayed in the novels.
