Hulu Will Release Season 1 of Queenie on June 7, 2024

Onyx Collective has announced the premiere date for the original drama "Queenie," adapted from Candice Carty-Williams' bestselling novel, set for June 7 on Hulu, with all episodes available for streaming simultaneously.

The narrative revolves around Queenie Jenkins (Dionne Brown), a 25-year-old Jamaican British woman residing in south London, navigating the challenges of straddling two cultures without fitting neatly into either. Following a tumultuous breakup with her long-term boyfriend, Queenie seeks solace in all the wrong places and realizes she must confront her past head-on before embarking on the journey to rebuild.

The series also features Samuel Adewunmi as Frank and marks the acting debut of rising R&B singer Bellah in the role of Kyazike.
