Adapted from Karen Kingsbury's internationally acclaimed book series, The Baxters unfolds as a gripping family saga, chronicling the lives of Elizabeth and John Baxter alongside their five grown children. Season One delves into the tumultuous journey of Kari Baxter, Elizabeth and John's daughter, who uncovers a startling revelation about her husband, Tim, a professor entangled in a clandestine affair with one of his students. As Kari grapples with the challenges testing her marriage, she embarks on a quest for solace within her faith and family, questioning the nature of love and the possibility of redeeming her relationship. The Baxters embark on a poignant, faith-infused exploration, uniting as a family to confront life's obstacles.
