The expansion of one of television's most successful franchises heads north with the introduction of Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent.
In collaboration with NBC's Universal Television, Canadian broadcaster Citytv has unveiled a trailer for this international Law & Order spinoff. The series, consisting of 10 hour-long episodes, will adhere to a familiar format as it follows an elite squad of detectives investigating "high-profile crime and corruption" in Toronto, as stated in the official logline.
Scheduled to premiere on Thursday, Feb. 22, at 8/7c, Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent boasts a cast including Aden Young from Rectify as Detective Sergeant Henry Graff, Kathleen Munroe (known for FBI and Law & Order: Organized Crime) as Detective Sergeant Frankie Bateman, Karen Robinson (from Pretty Hard Cases and A Million Little Things) as Inspector Vivienne Holness, and K.C. Collins (featured in The Cleaning Lady and The Strain) as Deputy Crown Attorney Theo Forrester.
