Apple TV+ Will Release Season 1 of The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin on March 1, 2024

In "The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin," the character Dick Turpin (played by Fielding) embarks on a series of outrageously absurd escapades after reluctantly becoming the leader of a group of outlaws. His mission is to outsmart the corrupt lawman and self-proclaimed thief-taker Jonathan Wilde (Hugh Bonneville). Set in the 18th century, this irreverent retelling portrays Turpin as the most famous yet unlikely highway robber, whose success is largely attributed to his charm, showmanship, and impeccable hair. Alongside his band of endearing rogues, Turpin navigates the highs and lows of his newfound endeavors, including encounters with celebrity, all while evading the clutches of the relentless thief-taker.
