Before Season 1 Renewal Announced by Apple TV+

Judith Light, a recipient of multiple Emmy and Tony awards, is slated to join Billy Crystal in the Apple TV+ series "Before". Crystal, also an executive producer for the limited series produced by Paramount TV Studios, will be directed by Adam Bernstein for the pilot episode.

Penned by Sarah Thorp, "Before" unfolds over 10 episodes, presenting an atmospheric, character-driven psychological thriller. The series revolves around Eli (played by Crystal), a child psychiatrist grappling with the recent loss of his wife Lynn (portrayed by Light). Eli's life takes a mysterious turn when he encounters a troubled young boy with a haunting connection to his past.
