Actor-comedian Jamie Lee (known for "Crashing") and actor-comedian Nikki Glaser (from "FBoy Island") are slated to both star in and executive produce a half-hour, single-camera comedy titled "Unsettling." The show, currently in development for Prime Video, is a collaborative effort from Warner Bros. TV, Bill Lawrence's Doozer Productions, and Amazon MGM Studios.
"Unsettling," penned by Jamie Lee, unfolds as a heartwarming and authentically candid series depicting the lives of two childless best friends (portrayed by Lee and Glaser) in their 30s. The duo makes the unconventional decision to embark on the journey of parenthood together and navigate the complexities of their lives as newly minted platonic co-parents.
Co-showrunning the series are Jamie Lee and Aseem Batra, the latter having kickstarted her writing career on Lawrence's "Scrubs." In addition to their on-screen roles, Lee and Glaser also take on executive producer duties alongside Bill Lawrence, Jeff Ingold, and Liza Katzer from Doozer Productions.
