Downfall Of A King Season 2 is yet to be announced by Canal+

Sky's documentary series, "Juan Carlos: Downfall of the King," has swiftly secured a deal for German free TV shortly after its premiere on Canal+ in France. The producer, Gebrueder Beetz Filmproduktion, has successfully negotiated an agreement directly with the German network ARD for all four episodes, along with a 90-minute special set to be released soon. The special is scheduled to debut in prime time at 8:15 pm on January 15, 2024, on the Das Erste network, with the entire series made available on the ARD Mediathek streaming platform. Previously, "Juan Carlos" was accessible on German pay-TV through Sky Deutschland, which obtained the rights following the show's commission by its UK counterpart earlier in the year. Additionally, the series was accessible for streaming through Sky's app WOW.
