Marc Brown, the creator of the popular Arthur series, is set to debut his next children's show on Max. The streaming service has officially given the green light to Hop, a new animated preschool series. This series order signifies Max's return to the kids' programming arena, known for their iconic libraries of Looney Tunes and Hanna-Barbera.
Hop also marks Marc Brown's first television show since the conclusion of the beloved Arthur series, which ran for 25 seasons on PBS and concluded last year. Co-created by Brown, along with Peter K. Hirsch and Tolon Brown, who were involved in Arthur, Hop is being produced by Epic Story Media and Loomi Animation. In addition, Epic has partnered with RespectAbility, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting stigma and promoting opportunities for individuals with disabilities, to provide consultation for the series.
