Production of Citadel: Diana took place in Italy, with the series being locally created and produced. The esteemed production company Cattleya, a part of ITV Studios, is behind the series, with showrunner and executive producer Gina Gardini at the helm. Riccardo Tozzi, Marco Chimenz, and Giovanni Stabilini also serve as executive producers, along with Emanuele Savoini as the co-executive producer.
