Love the girls and parents. The coach and her hubby leave very much to be desired. They are incredibly rude and dismissive.
This is an unfortunate example of someone constantly expecting parents to provide funds and bow down to Coach Rory. It should be the other way around. Narcissistic much?
Where does all the money go? [confused]

FINALLY. I can not, for any reason understand WHY Rory is a sanctioned Coach, or allowed around children at all, or at least after the 3rd episode, WE didn't pull the rest of the series for HER behavior. I am angry. Those girls, ALL girls deserve BETTER. If I had ever encountered a coach like her, well props to Rae and Kym and their talented daughter for their patience, professional, empathetic, morally correct and loving attitude and behavior that they embodied.
As for Rory and Roy, they've been paid 2X and stole the money. Examples included are the costumes, the Ice time, cost of events, travel and lodging. They had a fiduciary responsibility to account for all the money they were paid for coaching and how they spent it. They didn't. I was appalled by the way she behaved around the children. She pitted them against each other and their parents. Like not telling about nationals. My biggest issue, her HOT MIKE when she cussed the parents in front of the skaters. NO Season 2

I was really excited to see a show showing the young ladies of color develop a first class ice skating team. The team members are a talented, hardworking, and dedicated group that l love to watch as they work toward their goals. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for Coach Rory and her husband the team manager. They come off as unprofessional with an attitude that gives off narcissistic vibes. They definitely need to develop their management, communication, and people skills.

I will admit, I was very excited to see an all black series about ice skating because there are few black series and the concept is AMAZING, BUT unfortunately the shows main character, Rory Flack, whom I've never heard of, and her husband are horrible people.. They are disrespectful to the parents and young ladies, they act entitled and Rory is weird.

I hate to say I don't think there should be a season 2, but this show is trying to be an imitation of Bring It On and they are doing a horrible job. It's one thing to have LOVING discipline to help build confidence, but shaming, disrespecting and disregarding young, impressionable BLACK women is a HUGE NO for me.

I love ice skating and seeing black young, talented females was so amazing, but I've never heard of Rory and I guess she is trying to relive her long ago accomplishment. Being one of the first black skaters is phenomenal, but she needs to build others up and stop tearing them down.
