In the upcoming comedy-drama series, "The Full Monty" the same band of brothers will be followed as they navigate the post-industrial city of Sheffield and the healthcare, education and employment sectors that are crumbling in society. The fiercely funny world of these working-class heroes that has changed in the intervening decades will also be highlighted. Brighter, sillier and more desperate moments of the gang will be uncovered after they put their kit back on.
The series will be produced by the Academy Award-winning screenwriter Simon Beaufoy who returns to the original movie. He will be joined by co-writer Alice Nutter (Accused), with Uberto Pasolini (Nowhere Special) also coming back as executive producer.
