Sarah Catherine Hook (First Kill), Zac Burgess (Totally Completely Fine), and Myra Molloy (He’s All That) have been chosen as the lead actors, alongside Khobe Clarke (Yellowjackets), Brooke Lena Johnson (You), Sara Silva (The Boys), Sean Patrick Thomas (from the original "Cruel Intentions" film), and John Harlan Kim (The Last Thing He Told Me) as series regulars. The adaptation is set in Washington D.C. and is being developed by writers Phoebe Fisher and Sara Goodman, with production by Sony Pictures Television, Amazon Studios, and Original Film. Fans can anticipate its release on Prime Video.
