After the popular series "Amanda and Alan's Italian Job," Alan Carr and Amanda Holden are embarking on another adventure, this time securing a 'One Euro' house in the picturesque hills of Tuscany. The upcoming series, produced by Voltage TV for BBC One and BBC iPlayer, will push the duo's DIY and design abilities to the limit.
Collaborating with a team of skilled local tradespeople, they will undertake the challenging renovation of a rundown historic property, including a medieval tower that requires significant tender loving care.
The Italian Job follows Amanda Holden and Alan Carr as they join the ranks of the ‘One Euro’ home buyers, purchasing their own slice of heaven at a bargain price in a little town nestled in the sun-kissed hills of rural Sicily.
Following ratings success - the series continues Friday nights at 8:30pm on BBC One - the BBC have reportedly already commissioned a second series. The new series will see the duo renovate another property abroad and sell for charity.
A source told The Sun: "t’s so hard for new TV shows to make an impact, but the ratings have been incredible and Amanda and Alan’s chemistry is undeniable.
