The story unfolds after a devastating defeat at the hands of humanity, leaving the demons in search of a new Demon King. However, demons don't choose their leaders through elections; they rely on a fighting tournament to determine their ruler and restore their former glory.
The latest tournament of succession appears to be going smoothly, except for one significant twist—Helck, a former HUMAN hero, emerges as the victor! Despite Helck's claim that he despises humans just like any other demon, his true intentions remain shrouded in mystery. To uncover the truth, the demons send Red Vamirio, one of the Four Heavenly Demon Kings, to investigate Helck's motivations for the demon realm.
With the title of Demon King hanging in the balance, the fate of the demon world rests on Red's demonic shoulders. Helck is brought to life by SATELIGHT Inc. with direction by Tatsuo Sato and writing by Toshizo Nemoto.
