Discovery Channel’s latest survival competition series Bushcraft Build-Off kicked off with its season 1 debut on November 14th, 2017 with brand new episodes. Hosted by primitive skills master Matt Graham, the show focuses on some elite builders as they compete over the course of seven days to create the ultimate builds with anything they can find in nature and their immediate surroundings to test their abilities. No hardware stores or tools and materials are available to them and they literally have to do everything themselves. The challenges involve building bridges, weapons and even transportation. The first episode attracted 957,000 viewers with a demo rating of 0.29 in the coveted 18-49 demographic. The second episode dropped to 775,000 viewers with a demo rating 0.21, but still managed to land within the top 40 television shows in terms of cable ratings for that day. As of today, Discovery Channel has not yet made any official announcements regarding a possible Season 2 of Bushcraft Build-Off, so stay tuned!
