Season 2 of Sisters Won’t Be on Network Ten’s Schedule

Created by Jonathan Gavin, the brand new Australian television drama Sisters premiered on the Network Ten on October 25th, 2017 with seven episodes for its very first season. The show hails from the production company Endemol Shine Australia and is executive produced by Carl Fennessy, Mark Fennessy and Rick Maier. The strong cast features Maria Angelico as Julia Bechly, Lucy Durack as Roxy Karibas, Antonia Prebble as Edie Flanagan, Barry Otto as Julius Bechly, Charlie Garber as Isaac and Dan Spielman as Tim. Roy Billing, Magda Szubanski, Catherine McClements, Lindsay Farris and Zindzi Okenyo also star.

Julia Bechly is the daughter of Award-winning in-vitro fertilization pioneer Julius Bechly, who confesses to her on his death bead that he had used his own sperm during his time as a specialist and that Julia could potentially have thousands of siblings. Obviously, this confession has a rather unsettling effect on Julia, but she decides to make the best out of a bad situation and actually throws a family gathering. It brings hundreds of people together and she learns that she has almost all brothers – apart from two siblings, who turned out to be girls. These two sisters are troubled TV star Roxy Karibas and lawyer Edie Flanagan.
