The brand new British reality survival show Ed Stafford: Left For Dead was first released on Amazon Prime UK on September 14, 2017 and then premiered on the network Discovery Channel on October 10th, 2017 for its first season. The show hails from the production companies betty and Base Camp Films and is executive produced by Tom Gorham and David Harrison.
Ten days. This is the limit for British survival expert Ed Stafford, as he is being dropped off into some of the harshest and most remote environments of this earth and has to make his way to the nearest civilization. Stafford doesn’t have anything on him – no survival gear, no map, compass, tools or fancy gadgets – only a camera to document his progress over these 10 days. Ed is no stranger to this kind of challenge, as he has been filming such attempts numerous times for Discovery and has been featured on previous shows such as Marooned with Ed Stafford and Ed Stafford: Naked and Marooned. He has tried 60 days on a remote tropical island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean with no food or water – or clothes – and he still hasn’t had enough, as he now wants to tackle subtropical forests, desolate mountains and dry desert and reach civilization within 10 days.
