Seven Types of Ambituity Will Not Get Season 2, ABC (AU) Confirmed

The first season of the crime drama TV series called Seven Types Of Ambiguity premiered on the Australian ABC Channel with six episodes on April 13th, 2017. Based on the eponymous book by Elliot Perlman, the series is produced by Matchbox Pictures and executive produced by Tony Ayres, Jacquelin Perske, Christopher Gist and Brett Sleigh. The main characters are played by Alex Dimitriades as Joe Marin, Leeanna Walsman as Anna Marin, Xavier Samuel as Simon Heywood and Andrea Demetriades as Angela. Hugo Weaving, Anthony Hayes, Susie Porter and Sarah Peirse also star.

Seven Types of Ambiguity is a psychological mystery, which tells the story of a kidnapping in a small town, as seven year old Sam is abducted. Thankfully, the boy is returned unharmed, but now the finger pointing starts and the police finds themselves thrown into the middle of moral dilemmas and entangled relationships, as they are trying to figure out, who of the people involved could be the suspect. Everyone, including the mother’s ex, his new girlfriend, who somehow also has a connection to Sam’s father, a psychiatrist and a lawyer all play a part in this investigation. Every episode covers the complicated chain of events that lead to the boy being taken from a different perspective for each of these six characters.
