On November 27, 2016 The Comedy Channel (AU) has launched Whose Line Is It Anyway? The down under version of the eponymous British program was created by Dan Patterson and Mark Levenson, executive produced by Kevin Whyte and Craig Campbell, and hails from Guesswork Television and +61 TV. The freshman series contains ten episodes.
The improvisational short-form comedy program is presented by Tommy Little, and stars an ensemble cast of seven performers – Rhys Darby, Susie Youssef, Birdie Connell, Tegan Higginbotham, Cal Wilson, Steen Raskopoulos and Tom Walker. Four comedians per episode tackle different challenges every week, creating characters and short entertaining routines on the spot.
