On October 6, 2016 ABC AU has launched Silvia's Italian Table, a celebrity-themed cooking and chat show hosted by self-taught cook Silvia Colloca. Colloca is a Milan native who shares her love for the Italian cuisine with three celebrities in each of the episodes, as they cook three simple yet savory dishes and engage in meaningful conversation. The show is executive produced by Richard Campbell and produced for Fremantle Media.
Silvia Colloca is not a newbie on Australian television, having already hosted her own show Made in Italy on SBS. The current series features the likes of Cathy Freeman, Ita Buttrose, Lisa McCune, Ken Done, Sarah Ferguson, Kathy Lette, Tara Moss, Kanen Breen and Magda Szubanski, among others.
