Secrets of America's Favorite Places is a new documentary series that premiered on July 3, 2016 on Discovery Family. The freshman season of the show is set to contain 8 episodes. The series is produced by Indigo Films and executive produced by David M. Frank.
The first season explores the less known stories and unravels the myths behind eight of the most iconic locations and monuments. The series covers the whole of the United States, from San Francisco to New York City. Fascinating facts will be revealed about the Statue of Liberty, memorable Lincoln-related places in Washington, D.C., Mount Rushmore, Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge, Grand Central Terminal, Hollywood Boulevard and Central Park.
