On May 24, 2016 Oxygen has launched Virtually in Love, a new reality series that focuses on online dating turning very real. The series is produced by Fly On The Wall Entertainment and executive produced by Allison Grodner, Dena Waxman and Rich Meehan. Virtually in Love targets young millennial viewers, who constitute Oxygen's primary audience.
Every episode of Virtually in Love portrays couples who have met online and interacted only over the internet. The program will allow them to finally meet and take a close look at each other's lives in reality – getting acquainted with their families and friends and visiting their hometowns. Afterwards the pairs make a decision on whether or not they've made the right choice in picking each other out of the many prospective candidates on dating websites.
