Series info and concept
A new American documentary and reality series Finding my Father premiered on Oxygen on December 9, 2015. It is produced by Asylum Entertainment and executive produced by Jonathan Koch, Sara Mast, Steve Michaels and Taylor Hennessy.
The series follows 16 young men and women on their journeys to meet their biological fathers who have been absent in their lives. This entails the actual search, including distant relative connections, private investigators, social networks and other means. There are many discoveries along the way and at the point of actually meeting the long-lost father, since there inevitably are some expectations that the children hold, and then there is reality, which might surprise them pleasantly or otherwise.
