Hollywood Cycle is a new American reality TV series that follows the lives of several indoor cycling instructors and their clients at the famed Cycle House studio in Los Angeles. Produced by Tricon Films & Television, season 1 premiered on E! July 7, 2015.
Aaron Hines, Nick Hounslow, and Nichelle Hines are instructors of the uber popular fitness training known as indoor cycling. Their driven and ambitious personalities often clash, creating drama in their professional and sometimes even personal lives. Struggling to keep their dark and sweaty rooms full of clients, the instructors ferociously compete for attention — even if that means mixing business and pleasure. Hollywood Cycle fans get additional drama when the Cycle House management steps in to assert their authority.
Season 1 of Hollywood Cycle premiered to a healthy 320,000 viewers but struggled to keep the ratings up throughout the season. Airing for just six episodes, the season finale introduced a new instructor at Cycle House and showed how unhappy Nichelle felt when co-owners Lara and Adam did not give her enough credit for her work. The show has basically set the stage for a possible Hollywood Cycle season 2, but the network has not made any formal announcements regarding its fate. Fans will have to stay tuned to see if the hottest, most competitive fitness craze comes back for another round.
