A typical work day at a pension fund investment company, Lochmill Capital, is upended when a gang of violent thieves burst in and force Zara and her best mate Luke to execute their demands. But who would steal billions of pounds of ordinary people’s pensions and why? DCI Rhys is determined to find out, but as a recently relapsed gambling addict, Rhys must keep his own money problems at bay while dealing with the secret agendas and competing interests at the centre of this far-reaching crime.

The six-part series stars Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones) as Zara, a mid-level office worker at a pension management company whose boring day is about to get a whole lot less boring when a violent gang of armed, prosthetics-wearing criminals burst in to commit the biggest money heist in British history.

She, and her best work buddy, Luke (Archie Madekwe), are members of the trade processing team. So it is they who are tasked by the robbers with illegally transferring £4 billion of UK citizen’s hard-earned cash.

Now the two must rely on their wits to wangle themselves out of the situation alive.
