Aegon’s Conquest serves as a direct prequel to the popular "House of the Dragon," narrating the Targaryen family's ruthless and bloody conquest of Westeros. The tale revolves around Aegon Targaryen, the invader who, along with his sister wives, Rhaenys and Visenya, and their dragons, successfully conquered the continent of Westeros.
